The 2nd Annual “Catalyst Classic 100” Golf Marathon, benefitting Catalyst Partnerships and their mission to bring together useful resources & caring volunteers to meet the home repair & remodeling needs of under-resourced people in our communities.
This may sound crazy, and you may think we’re nuts, but WE NEED YOU to play 100 holes of golf with us on May 19, 2012 at Charbonneau Golf Club. With nominal participation from 20+ volunteers, $50,000 or more, can be raised in the next several weeks to support Catalyst Partnerships’ mission. Last year, 14 committed participants, golfers and non-golfers alike, raised over $27,000! This year, we need 20+ passionate champions wanting to help support Catalyst Partnerships. We have made a commitment, and now WE NEED YOU!
Right now we are putting together our ‘Catalyst Classic 100’ Team and we want you on it! WE NEED YOU to participate in a KEY volunteer position. Each volunteer has a very limited, yet well defined, responsibility. We promise you, this will not take a lot of your time! We need volunteers who will commit to following the instructions of this proven program, raising significant dollars to serve elderly, disabled, and low-income people in our communities. You can even win some great prizes like 3 days/2 nights at one of 80 resorts. You can be “A Catalyst Classic 100 Champion”. Here is what we are asking each “Champion” to commit to:
1. Show up on May 19th at 6:30am [breakfast & lunch included] at Charbonneau to play 100 holes of golf! *Not as hard as it may seem, as we tweak the rule book and have some unique fun on the reserved course all to ourselves.
2. Sponsor yourself for at least $1/hole, and
3. Raise a min. $24 more per hole from your spheres of influence. This is easy, as people will want to support you in your commitment to help under-resourced people. This can be done in less than 5 hours!
You can be a “Catalyst Classic 100” Team Captain! We need 6-10 Team Captains to accomplish the above 1 – 2 – 3 and put together a team of 4 [including self] Champions.
We have created a website for this campaign and it is the key to our success- where you enter your sponsor’s pledge information [you do not have to collect any monies, just get pledges from those you know: your friends, family, associates] and the site will send them a big thank you, tax deductible letter, and where they can send their sponsorship of you.
People give to People. All you have to do is ASK for help in this all-out endeavor with Catalyst Partnerships.
Don’t golf? NO Problem! Just make a $100 pledge, reach out to your network asking others to match your pledge and then join us for lunch. As a non-golfing Participant Champion YOU can still win prizes and most of all make a BIG difference for Catalyst Partnerships.
